Rooted in the Blue Ridge Mountains Since 2005
VanWyck LanDesign is a family-owned and operated landscape design and installation company, founded in 2005 by Dave VanWyck. Dave holds a Horticulture and Landscape Design degree from Michigan State University and is a Certified Nurseryman, a certified brick and retaining wall specialist, a Certified Techo-Pro, and an Unilock Authorized Contractor, and he brings 32 years of hands-on field experience to every property Dave and his team touch. We take pride in showing up on time and on budget, and in building landscapes for homeowners across Asheville, Hendersonville, and Western North Carolina that are engineered to last.
About VanWyck LanDesign
Since 2005, VanWyck LanDesign has been a family-owned and operated fixture of the Western North Carolina landscape industry, built around owner Dave VanWyck’s degreed horticultural training and 32 years of field experience. Dave holds a Horticulture and Landscape Design degree from Michigan State University and carries an unusually deep set of credentials for a residential landscape company: he is a Certified Nurseryman, a certified brick and retaining wall specialist, a Certified Techo-Pro, and an Unilock Authorized Contractor. That combination of horticultural science and hardscape certification means Dave and his team are equally at home designing a planting bed and engineering a retaining wall or paver driveway that will hold up through a Blue Ridge Mountain winter. We pride ourselves on superb customer relations, the highest-quality craftsmanship, and unrivaled dependability — when we say we’ll be there, we’ll be there, always — and VanWyck LanDesign has been recognized in the past with an Angie’s List Super Service Award for that consistency. From paving stones and water features to retaining walls, outdoor lighting, and landscape design, we bring the same standard of craftsmanship to every project, on time and on budget, for homeowners throughout Asheville, Hendersonville, and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.
